Privacy Policy
Jeong Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") built Lattice: Daily Logic ("Lattice" or the "App") as a privacy-first daily puzzle application for iOS and iPadOS. We believe you should be able to enjoy your daily logic ritual without creating an account or surrendering your personal identity.
1. Zero Account Requirement & Local-First Storage
Lattice does not require you to register, log in, or provide your name, email address, phone number, or physical address. Your puzzle progress, daily streaks, solve times, and unlocked archive dates are stored locally on your device using Apple's native Application Support and UserDefaults storage APIs (declared under Apple Required Reason API codes C617.1 and CA92.1).
2. Apple Game Center (Optional)
If you are signed into Apple Game Center on your iOS or iPadOS device, Lattice submits your daily combined solve time and streak score to Apple's Game Center leaderboards (`com.kjwjeong.lattice.daily_combined_time` and `com.kjwjeong.lattice.longest_streak`). Game Center authentication, display names, and avatars are managed directly by Apple Inc. under Apple's Privacy Policy.
3. Advertising, Consent (UMP), & App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
For players using the free version of Lattice, we display occasional non-intrusive sponsorships, post-solve interstitials, and optional rewarded video ads (to unlock past archive dates) powered by Google AdMob.
- Regional Consent (GDPR / EEA / UK): Before loading ads in regulated regions, Lattice presents Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form so you can manage your data preferences.
- App Tracking Transparency (iOS 14.5+): On iOS/iPadOS, Lattice requests your permission via Apple's native ATT prompt before accessing the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). If you select "Ask App Not to Track", your IDFA is zeroed out and only contextual/non-personalized ads are served.
- Children's Privacy & Age Assurance (COPPA / GDPR-K): We never knowingly collect personal data from children or serve behavioral tracking ads to minors. When tracking authorization is not granted, ad requests are strictly restricted to contextual delivery.
- Lattice Pro ($4.99): Upgrading to Lattice Pro permanently disables all ad initialization, ad requests, and ad-related network calls.
4. In-App Purchases (StoreKit 2)
All financial transactions for the one-time Lattice Pro upgrade (`com.kjwjeong.lattice.lifetime_pass`) are processed directly by Apple via StoreKit 2. Jeong Inc. never receives or stores your credit card or billing details.
