D³ — Drive Directory Duplicator
D³ was created to solve a singular, highly specific problem: Google Drive does not allow users to copy folders. To duplicate a folder structure natively, you are forced to download the entire directory to your machine, unzip it, and re-upload it—wasting hours of time and internet bandwidth.
With D³, this process is reduced to a single click. Our tool reads the folders recursively, maps out the structure, and duplicates the tree natively inside Google’s cloud servers, bypassing the need for downloads.
Get D³ on Chrome Web Store100% Local. 100% Secure.
Many file duplication tools route your folders and authentication tokens through their own remote servers. D³ is fundamentally different. It operates entirely inside your local browser sandbox.
Secure Client-Side Architecture
Local Extension
All javascript scripts run directly in your local browser sandbox. No user files are sent to us.
Google Identity
Authentication goes directly through Google. The access token is saved locally in Chrome's cache.
Google Drive API
The copy instructions are sent directly to Google. Duplication is handled natively inside Google's servers.
No Third-Party Intermediaries
Since the application does not have an external server or database, there is zero risk of data interception, data mining, or server leaks. Your credentials never leave your browser.
Direct API Communication
All folder creation, list, and copy requests are sent directly via encrypted HTTPS connections to Google Drive's official endpoints (https://www.googleapis.com).
No Token Persistence
Your Google authorization token is managed securely by Chrome's native identity system. Clicking "Sign Out" revokes the token on Google's servers and wipes your cache instantly.
